Do you know why this happens?
When you study a new language, the most important thing is interacting with other people.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.
The biggest mistake is to think that learning single words or phrases in apps or on the internet is going to help you communicate effectively.

You interact with other human beings when you want to communicate. You exchange ideas, experiences, thoughts, and more.
It is not a problem to watch a lot of videos or use apps to learn a language. The question, however, is where and how you can apply all that knowledge. With whom do you practice what you’ve learnt? This is a real dilemma.
If you don't have opportunities to practice your language knowledge, you won't be able to learn to communicate. As a result, all that knowledge stays in the same spot, somewhere between the applications and your head, but it doesn't come out of your mouth.
Remember: speaking a language is interacting with other people.
